CATEGORY STRATEGIC SOURCING EXPERT (IT/Telcom)
Our partner, who is a multinational market leader company operating in the field of technology and IT services is currently looking for an experienced Category Strategic Sourcing Expert in Budapest. The aim of the position is to manage and develop procurement processes and client/supplier relations and contracts within the IT, hardware/software and telecom category.
Main responsibilities of the Category Strategic Sourcing Expert:
• Developing category sourcing strategy, increasing category compliance
• Responsibility for on-going category related activities, driving the performance of suppliers, increasing efficiency
• Managing and developing supplier base, negotiating with them through all levels of organization, keeping continuous communication, conducting client meetings, building and maintaining relationships
• Managing contracts/agreements
• Understanding and ensuring the achievement of deliverables, savings and milestones
• Providing category support, responsibility for achieving client success against the contractual commitments
• Providing category leadership and direction to Category Buyers
Requirements:
• University/College degree
• Fluent, active German AND English knowledge
• At least 5-6 years strategic sourcing experience
• Specific category sourcing knowledge in IT, software/hardware and telecom
• Project management experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of different negotiation techniques
• Client facing skills, professional, confident appearance
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
