The Cloud and Enterprise Business organization at Microsoft is looking for an experienced Regional Modern Data Center Marketing Manager ( MDC MM) in the Central and Eastern European Headquarter, building and executing a mid & long term strategy supporting the enterprise customer Journey to Cloud.
Customer journey to the Cloud involves pushing workloads out into a service provider that can derive and pass on cost savings from large scale cloud operations. Large enterprises and governments are asking us to help them in taking decisions regarding the right cloud strategy:
Private, Hybrid, or Public Cloud. Microsoft is working with service providers, enterprise customers and governments across the world to enable the success as they move to cloud platforms and services.

We seek somebody who can programmatically address this challenge, through building and executing the right programs that can help customers adopt Cloud.

• The MDC MM at Microsoft is accountable for the business plan and value proposition for their Cloud product portfolio and measured across the 3 operating models: revenue, scorecard and market share for their assigned Cloud technology in the Subsidiary. This dynamic position requires a strong understanding of the technology and a deep understanding of customer solutions and strategies.
• As a regional lead, the person is responsible for working together with the subsidiaries of the CEE region.
• Job role includes building key customer, solution providers and partner relationships, identify business opportunities and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
• Leverage the national Cloud strategy of MS, deliver presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict the clients’ future needs.
• Analyze customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of Company products and services
• Build comprehensive strategies and partner with the key Area Sales and Partner management team stakeholders to execute on the strategies for successful private and hybrid engagements across target customers and solution providers.
• Leading strategic solution selling roundtables and marketing events with C Level executives to accelerate the opportunity pipeline and ensure a Microsoft solution is preferred by the customer
The MDC MM is the leader, spokesperson and voice of the Cloud technology they represent within the subsidiary. The role requires the ability to articulate the local competitive landscape and develop local compete strategies and product differentiation by leveraging corporate and local research, partner insights and customer feedback. This competitive knowledge and product expertise will help drive business and marketing planning.
The MDC Marketing Manager understands, orchestrates, and influences customer campaigns and marketing activities and delivers product, solutions and customer campaign feedback to the business. An essential aspect of the role is to align the content, timing and delivery of marketing messages and outreach to Microsoft’s customers and partners. The MDC MM must develop strong partnerships with stakeholders to lead and execute the fiscal year local priorities, minimizing ad-hoc and un-integrated customer and partner outreach.
Qualifications and Experience:
We expect you to be an innovative thinker, builder that can see new opportunities, who embraces inspiring others to drive what could be, not what has been. Have a credibility in the enterprise space, acquired in the technology business justification for technology adoption.
• A degree in Business Administration and IT, or equivalent
• Work experience with IT industry and deep understanding of how enterprise customers make platform decisions
• A demonstrated success and history of building marketing strategy, tactics and execution in the IT industry
• Proven ability to identify business opportunities and drive profitable new business
• 5 to 10 years of solid related sales experience in a fast-paced environment, a proven track record of success in sales and marketing
• Excellent cross-group collaboration skills
• Advanced conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Strong skills in impact and influence – achieving results through a virtual team
• Advanced oral and written communication skills, planning and organizational abilities
