Full-Time IT Data Support Analyst

The role of the Data Support Analyst is within the Application Support Team providing 2nd and 3rd line support for tickets raised through the service desk.
Main tasks:
- Solving daily support issues/tickets involving data queries, data quality issues and access requests to company’s databases or data warehouses;
- Participating in service improvement initiatives;
- Taking action on tickets requiring minor database or ETL changes (within control process);
- Managing user access requests;
- Assisting in the implementation of a Reference/Management Data Model tool;
- Using the tool to standardise data ownership by the team;
- Developing a workflow to escalate queries to data owners.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school degree;
- Confident, fluent English (verbal, written);
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proactive in resolving issues and prioritising appropriately;
- Commercial experience using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle Database server;
- Excellent T-SQL and/or PL-SQL skills;
- Good ETL skills using Microsoft technologies;
- Basic database modelling knowledge;
- Basic knowledge of DBA tasks.
