Job Description

As a Project Manager you need to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, that the projects’ objectives are met and project team members are doing their job properly. You are supposed to oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.

Main Responsibility Areas

– Drive strategic global Procurement Initiative in collaboration with the Global Procurement Operations Team
– Support / Drive Global Procurement GetSimple Initiatives
– Lead management system of Global Procurement: Operational Review, GetSimple reviews, key management cadence with Senior Procurement Leaders
– Support and collaborate with S2P Transformation
– Manage project team and develop use cases for implementation guideline incl. Spring strategy etc., interfere with T&O for tool development and enhancement of capabilities, interact with Sales for commercialization
– agreeing project objectives
– representing the client’s or organization’s interests
– providing advice on the management of projects
– organizing the various professional people working on a project
– carrying out risk assessment
– making sure that all the aims of the project are met
– making sure the quality standards are met
– using agile tools to keep track of people and progress
– ensuring about a well skilled and guided project team
– Step into #Getsimple project management and support globally idea, project handling
– Become primary stand-in of manager of Global Lead Procurement Transformation team
– Emptoris/Tools: step into and support Emptoris strategy if required
– Act as SME – Client engagement process expert: discuss strategies, interact in case of new strategy ideas, client/customer presentations

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • English: fluent
  • Strong project and stakeholder management, ability to drive global Initiatives
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Broad & deep knowledge about Procurement processes
  • Well developed interpersonal skills (team working, motivation)
  • Communication and Presentation skills (Exec. reviews), ability to communicate with senior VPs and CPO
  • Client facing skills
  • Tool expertise: strong power point and excel knowledge, agile basic knowledge and social media
  • Strong interest in new tools and techniques
