Full-Time HEAD OF ACCOUNTING
Job Description
We are looking for the Head of Accounting of a shaping global manufacturing and distributing company’s local firm in Budapest.
On a daily basis the Head of Accounting will be responsible for a team of 7 subordinates andensuring the flawless operation of the full-scale accounting and reporting processes of the company. You will be in charge to handle the yearly Entity reporting under Local GAAP, to manage the entity planning activity and to supervise the sales network auditing as well. The Head of Accounting is also taking part in the preparation of Tax pack making sure that they are in line with the tax instructions and reconcile with the accounts. The position is a direct report for the CFO who is also taking place in the Hungarian office.
The Head of Accounting position is a great opportunity for an experienced professional who wants to step forward. Our client is looking for applicants with 5-7 years of experience in Accounting preferably as a Chief Accountant, Entity Controller or Accounting Team Leader. Business fluency in English and strong people management skills are required to fulfil the Head of Accounting position.
