Job Description

Morgan Stanley is recognized as a global leader in the world’s lending and borrowing markets and the Securities Lending IT team is responsible for building and maintaining systems which support the Global Stock Loan business within Morgan Stanley. Systems cover:
• Pre-trade, connectivity to lenders and borrowers for availability, rates and approvals
• Trade, sourcing inventory and covering both firm and client delivery requirements as well as financing excess inventory through SL collateral
• Post-trade, managing the life cycle of deals and maintaining/upgrading the SL Book Analytics, manage risk, identify trends and meet compliance standards

Team Profile:

 

The team in Budapest has 14 members. Our expertise covers various IT areas: Java, database/data warehouse, Scala, C#, script languages. Since we are part of a global team we work closely with developers from London, New York and Hong Kong. Budapest team is responsible for lot of various projects that were developed in the past years mainly here.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicating with stakeholders / team members to gather requirements
• Planning and organizing code/design reviews, knowledge shares
• Implementing application based on agreed design
• Creating test plans and executing tests based on them
• Managing the go live of the product
• Providing support / Creating fixlogs
