Full-Time Junior IT System Support Specialist

This role forms part of a team that supports an EMEA wide environment and mission. In this role you will support the Company’s Finance / Accounting users, who get in touch with the various finance applications under your responsibility.
Main responsibilities:
– Complete the day-to-day tasks – maintain the Corporation’s Chart of Accounts and Department reference tables;
– Understand and carry out the critical timetabled actions during the month;
– Carry out the administration of some Lotus Notes based finance applications (various workflow applications in support of BS reconciliation or accrual automation);
– Provide user support (most of the communications done in emails);
– Support the month end periods with late shifts (11:30-20:00, ~ 3 times a month).
Requirements:
– University or College degree;
– Strong general IT and software knowledge;
– Solid SQL and relational database knowledge / At least 6 months experience in Databases, SQL;
– MS Office, particularly strong Excel;
– Fluent spoken and good written English;
– Pro-active attitude, self-starter;
– User focused approach; – Willingness to learn;
– Ability to cope with monotonous work as well;
– Willingness to accept and adhere to strict IT audit rules.
