Full-Time QA Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manual testing of web and embedded applications (client, website, server, MS SQL database) built using the latest technologies based on test documentations and instructions
- Implement and execute test cases manually
- Create, maintain and review test documentations and internal technical documentations
- Track / update development status with the project management system (JIRA) in English
- Set up and maintain test environments
- Query and modify test data in database, using profiler and SQL tools
- Tackle and solve challenging problems with high success rate
- Interact with developers and team members to successfully resolve issues discovered during testing
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
Requirements
- At least 1 year work experience in software testing or related environment
- Basic experience in software engineering processes and methodologies (development models, version control, continuous integration)
- Experience with version control and bug tracking systems such as Perforce or Subversion and JIRA
- Basic knowledge of Internet Technologies including web services, web applications and networks
- General knowledge of industry standard debugging, network monitoring and testing tools and techniques and basic MS SQL commands
- Experience with desktop virtualization, virtual machines
- Proficiency in desktop and mobile operating systems
- Intermediate proficiency speaking and writing English; ability to communicate complex ideas in English
- Good written and oral communication skills in Hungarian
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Good analytical skills
