Freelance Research assistant
Job Description
Research Assistant needed for a data collecting company (living in Budapest, working from home)
PROCESS
1. Receive a list of keywords
2. Monitor keywords in Hootsuite (social media analysis tool- used for twitter etc)
3. Judge relevance of data (is it from the UK? is it a business? does it match the intention of the keyword? Etc)
4. Qualify data (add information regarding business such as contact numbers, address, who are the director- I will explain how to do this)
5. Record Information in excel sheet provided to you
REQUIREMENTS
1. Fluent English language skills
2. Data collecting/mining/research
3. Data entry (particularly on excel)
4. Very familiar with social media (particularly twitter)
5. Has a fast and reliable Internet connection
6. Preferably has some experience using Hootsuite or equivalent (not a requirement though)
HOURS
-Between 15-35 hours per week depending on your availability
OTHER
-May occasionally be required to help with miscellaneous tasks
-Potential for different type of work if your speaking and listening skills are particularly strong (phoning businesses in the UK to ask them for one piece of information)
-Initial period is 1 month but potentially a much longer term project and full time role depending on initial trial
