Full-Time Senior ASP.NET Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Server-side web-based development for LogMeIn’s join.me product
- Maintain, test, and modify programs, make approved changes
- Participate in code reviews
- Create and maintain internal technical documentation
- Tackle and solve challenging problems with high success rate
- Seek to obtain necessary training required to complete assigned tasks
- Demonstrate an ability to mentor other engineers in developing technical or domain expertise
- Work closely with other platforms and QA engineers in Scrum
Requirements
- 4-5 years of professional experience
- Strong C# and asp.net background
- Good knowledge of the following technologies:
- HTML, XML, CSS
- WCF web services
- Asp.net MVC & Web API
- OOP Design Patterns
- Experience with .Net 4.5
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2012
- Able to code in a clear and concise object-oriented style
- Can read, understand and maintain existing code (and learn from it)
- An intermediate proficiency speaking and writing English; able to communicate complex ideas in English
- Good written and oral communication skills in Hungarian
- Great team player and sharing of best practice
- Consistently sees the overall big picture situation rather than only focusing on the details and specific tasks
- Takes the initiative to complete important tasks; influences others to consider alternative approaches that show increased value
Bonus points
- SQL knowledge
- Experience with web farm architecture
- Experience with version control and bug tracking systems such as Perforce or Subversion and JIRA
- Experience working in agile environment
