Full-Time System Administrator
Job Description
LogMeIn is currently seeking a System Administrator for the internal IT department. The position will be responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, performance tuning for our development environment. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server, VMware, HyperV and various development tools like JIRA, Perforce, a high level of knowledge on server hardware and server monitoring and Active Directory with Exchange 2010.
The System Administrator Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support of internal IT operations infrastructure where high performance and operational uptime are expected for a 200+ physical and virtual server environment
- Schedule installations and upgrades while maintaining them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
- Work within a multi-site, global IT department located in multiple countries/continents
- Evaluate, implement, and manage appropriate software and hardware solutions
- Provide 2nd level support for helpdesk and end users
- Provide advanced support and direction for the integration of 3rd party systems or applications required to support the business
- AD and Exchange 2010 administration
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience implementing highly available infrastructure solutions using VMware Virtual Infrastructure (ESX/ESXi, Virtual Center/VCenter, VMotion, HA/DRS and VMware converter
- Operating Systems: MS 2003/2008 Server, Windows 7,Windows 8, vSphere 4/5.x expereince
- 3+ years and detailed knowledge of Windows Systems Administration, operating systems software and HP Server hardware
- Storage Concepts: DAS, NAS, SAN; ISCSI and NFS with NetApp and EMC in a heavily Virtualized Environment
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and components including TCP/IP, DNS.
- Able to document detailed instructions outlining the steps required to repeat the build-out and configuration of the infrastructure including Visio diagrams.
- Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize projects
- Demonstrable excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software applications
- Hungarian and English fluency required
- Some international travel may be required

- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and VCP or better desired
