Part-Time 3D Modeler
Job Description
This is a remote, home-based position.
Scopic Software (www.scopicsoftware.com) is seeking for talented, hard-working, passionate 3D Modeler for long-term, part-time work on one of our projects. Scopic Software is US-based company with employees in more than 25 different countries. The company develops graphics, multimedia and image processing/analysis software for the desktop, web and mobile platforms. Engineers work from the comfort of their home using a PC and internet connection. Work is interesting and challenging.
Duties:
• Converting DWG models to 3D Studio Max models
• Optimizing polygon count
• Improving texturing
• Working directly with the client
• Working to production deadlines and meeting clients requirements.
Requirements:
• Good English skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Creative eye and excellent attention to detail
• Highly skilled in 3D Studio Max modeling and texturing tools
• Ability to work in the evening to overlap with US EST time.
• Positive attitude and an ability to provide and receive constructive criticism;
• Good PC and internet connection.
This is part-time position (about 30 hours per month).
Hourly range – $7-$12/hour depends on experience and skills.
