Full-Time Bid manager for Greece (Greek Speaker)
Job Description
Engages in pre-sales activities to deliver a proposal or a contract, for simple/standard offerings or complex/customized solutions
Coordinates IBM and non-IBM resources, Aligned Functions, Brand Sales and Technical resources to perform Solution Design, starting at opportunity selection or receipt of a client RFP, to contract signing
Ensures compliance with all relevant aspects of Solution Design according to Business Control guidance, using IBM tools and maintaining control files of proposal related documents including iterations
Understands all pricing aspects of a deal, secures pricing approvals and transposition in customer presentable documentation and leads pricing formal case creation for services as appropriate
Develops a bid project plan for solution design activities and/or for proposal preparation activities for complex deals, manages to that plan, uses appropriate collaborative/business tools and templates and coordinates IBM resources to produce deliverables according to clients expectations, within time-critical schedules
Performs a lead Bid Manager role for cross brand opportunities
Understands customer requirements for RFI/RFP, leads collection and integration of proposal inserts, ensures proposal documentation is fully compliant with client specifications and requirements
Leverages all STH resources in I/GMTs, BSCs and GEC to maximize STH contribution to the business
Drives usage of VDP methodology and collaborates with business and technical subject matter experts to develop customer focused value propositions
Ensures handoff of final proposal documents to ICAP Specialists/Proposal Writers and/or GEC to enable creation of re-usable content
Required
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 6 months experience in Project management
