Job Description:
The Corporate Sales Manager oversees all corporate negotiated market segment sales activities, ensuring ultimate guest satisfaction while maximizing revenue for the hotel. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales this role will be responsible for all handling all RFP inquiries, negotiations, and processing, as well as prospecting and all corporate client relationship management.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive corporate sales strategy based on comprehensive knowledge of market position, pricing and rate structures.
• Conduct on-site tours with prospective clients and future incoming guests.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with prospective clients.
• Develop forecasts and other reports for corporate market segment, as required; develop rates that maximize profitability.
• Prepare reports, as required; demand analyses and mix management.
• Regularly evaluate future or advanced performance or process issues relating to corporate booking pace, backlog, reservations pace, rate yielding or conversion in an effort to identify any future revenue and performance shortfalls and upside opportunities.
• Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within the market.
• Communicate progress, obstacles and promotions with the Director of Sales to ensure full alignment.
• Schedule and/or attend effective sales trips, trade shows and appointments within assigned markets.
• Additional duties, as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge Required:
• Demonstrated ability to work with maximum accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail, maintaining a keen sense of urgency at all times.
• Demonstrated understanding of the local market, along with competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand; aptitude for knowing how to position the hotel against its Competitive Set.
• Must be self directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional service, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Outstanding ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions, both verbal and written.
• Keen negotiation, decision-making, problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise sound logic and judgment in evaluating situations and utilizing appropriate resources.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and natural skill for multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
• Technologically savvy, possessing a strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office software
• Maintains flexible schedule to meet the business needs

Qualification Standards:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Sales & Marketing
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years progressive experience in a sales capacity, preferably in a 4* hotel environment. If you have no hotel experiences please do not apply.
