Job Description
Our client is a multinational company. For their Procurement Centre we are looking for an English and Czech or Slovak Speaking Spot Buyer.

Responsibilities
1 Initiation of spot buy procedure
- Analyze Purchase Requisitions assigned to him/her
- Search for potential suppliers, either existing or new
- Select the supplier and determine PO terms and conditions
- Create the Purchase Order
- Create Purchasing Contract with suppliers and for items agreed with Category Management (ideally fixed volume contracts, not longer than 1 year validity)
- Complete Freetext Requests/Orders to meet specific business requests, and ensure proper spend approvals and authorization execution
2 Close/change/modify Purchase Orders related to spot buys
- Manage changed requisitions or close PO if no longer needed
- Manage PO exceptions: Identify PO exception process and non compliant process and take action to resolve open issues by changing/modifying POs
- Change POs or Contracts: On user/Category Manager request, change Purchase Orders or Contracts to reflect user expectations
3 Check possibility to include in e-catalogue
- Monitor recurring spot buys to reduce the total amount of spot buys
- Contact e-catalogue maintainer to include item in an appropriate catalogue, if an item is recurring
- Notify User that item is now available in catalogue
4 Maintain contracting and Spot Buy activity for the BSC organizations based in Budapest and Prague
- Contracting all suppliers for BSCs
- Negotiate all needs for those businesses
Requirements
Fluent English and Czech or Slovak language knowledge
1-2 years of experience in Procurement Area
3-4 years general business experience preferably in multinational environment
Basic experience within supplier selection, negotiation and contacting area is necessary, preferably more than purchase order administration
University degree preferably in economics or engineering
Specific category knowledge (e.g. IT/None IT) would be in favor to give tactical sourcing support
Good IT procurement skills. PC (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP (SAP) or other e-Requisitioning tools essential
High level of service mindset
Highly results focused with respect of performance, quality and timing
Being able to work accurate, precise and very methodological
Customer-oriented attitude towards clients is a must
Interpersonal skills, ability to persuade and to influence, strong team player
