Job Description

Customer Support company located in Budapest is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of sales support specialist.

This role is a great opportunity to be immersed in a high growth business that is a dominant player in the industry and learn from a highly motivated and successful team.

Task(s):

  • Answers to all incoming calls and emails from English speaking customers
  • Assist customers on a daily basis via telephone/chats or written correspondence

 

Requirement(s):

  • Sales oriented candidate – previous experience in sales department is an advantage
  • English language – high level
  • Must be willing to work in shifts nights/weekend/holidays included
  • Excellent communication and computer skills (must be proficient in Microsoft Office)
  • Multitasking, organization, flexibility are a must
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Positive, energetic, ambitious and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Team worker.
  • Confident, engaging and compelling communication skills.
  • Ability to meet challenging sales goals.

    Reason for moving:

    I have recently sold my house in the UK and am re-marrying and moving to Budapest to start a new life.

    What I can offer:

    I have a wide range of experience of working in industry, commerce, retail, public and voluntary sectors. I have excellent people skills, being able to relate to people from wide ranging social and ethnic backgrounds. I am computer literate and have sound administrative skills.

    I have a flexible attitude to work and am happy to work some evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

    I will be pleased to consider a part time or full time position.

    I am a native English speaker.

    Education:

    Middleton Primary School Nottingham, Forest Field Grammar School Nottingham.

    BA (Hons) in Social Sciences from the Polytechnic of Central London (1974/77).

    Employment and self employment:

    1972/74: Trust Administrator for the National Westminster Bank, Nottingham.

    1978/82: Work Study Officer for GW Padley, Anwick, Lincolnshire (food industry).

    1982/1991: Partner sub Postmaster (Lowdham, Notts), Travel Agent and Financial Services.

    1991/93: Education Officer, Notts Alcohol Problems Advisory Service.

    1993/Present: Self employed researcher. Initially the majority of my work was for Local Authorities, my more recent work has focused on foreign research including reputational due diligence, political mapping and arranging introductions.

    2008/Present: Part time worker at Asda during which time I have worked in Price Changing, grocery, checkputs and self scan.

    Voluntary:

    Although I now have no involvement in politics I was International Vice Chairman of the Young Liberals in the 1970’s and a member of the Council of the Anti Apartheid Movement. I was a District Councillor (South Kesteven District Council) from 1991/99 and a Parish Councillor from 1991/2003.

    In recent years my voluntary activities have mainly been as Head Coach of the Ancaster Table Tennis Club.
