Exchange Admin Support

Technical Skills & Specialisation:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in planning, designing, deploying, managing / troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Server (2010, 2013) systems as well as the following areas: DNS, Windows Server 2008 / Server 2012, and Windows PowerShell
• Strong knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory 2003/2008/2012
• Working with and troubleshooting the following technologies – SMTP, DNS, Outlook Anywhere, Outlook Web App (OWA), Exchange ActiveSync and Message Transport / Mail routing.
• Configuring and managing Exchange High Availability and Site Resilient solutions.
• Experience using PowerShell to script tasks for automation and to administer Exchange.
• Track record of managing projects to completion.
• Certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent teamwork abilities and written and verbal communication skills.
• Participation in the on-call rotation process as part of the team.
• Technically knowledgeable and customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional manner.
• Knowledge & Experience in Blackberry Server Admin
• Real-time incident Handling (Providing L2 & L3 support related issues)
• Providing root cause analysis for the problems
• Status reporting (Reporting availability, Server Health, Issues addressed, Service levels)
• Responsible for capturing and providing the Monitoring & report generation as per requirement
• Backup and Restore practices
• Vendor Co-ordination for HW/SW break-fix, installs/ upgrades
• Good Knowledge on Incident, Change, Problem, Release management

*** Night Shifts involved on rotational basis.

Qualifications

Must to have:

• Must have a high level working knowledge and understanding of messaging systems to address complex issues quickly.
• Must have professional experience using all versions of Windows server, in particular server 2008 and 2012, as well as be knowledgeable in Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, windows clustering and backup solutions.

Nice to have:

Lotus Domino, SCOM, Linux, Quest migration tool knowledge/experience would be an added advantage.
