Full-Time Food & Beverage Manager

Job Description

He/ She must achieve guest satisfaction targets and team member satisfaction goals. In addition he is responsible for developing and training F&B operational managers and supervisors analyzing current trends and making recommendation accordingly. The F&B Manager contributes to the overall business planning and development of the hotel.

 

  • Oversees the operational activities in all outlets as refer above. 
  • Developments of all budgets, forecasts, and schedules in line with the Hotel Business plan.
  • Implements guidelines, policies and procedures for those operating department.
  • Guides operations and establishes a work environment to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Manages performance issues that arise within the respective operating departments.
  • Interviews, selects, trains, appraises, coaches, counsels and disciplines departmental employees/managers according to company standards.
  • Evaluates change in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary.
  • Has a strong sales and marketing approach in order to accomplish and support Sofitel Brand Projects and events.
  • Ensures employee satisfaction while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Is an inspiration to all hotel staff to achieve luxury levels of performance.
  • Interacts in a positive way with other departments to ensure a luxury guest experience.
  • Ensures compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Must be an example of the Sofitel Values, brand standards, and a champion of grooming and appearance guidelines.

Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years F&B management experience, preferably in the luxury setting
  • A strong understanding of operational controls,budgeting, forecasting, sales, and marketing
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Computer skills (word processing, spread sheet,and presentation software)
  • Excellent English proficiency
