Full-Time Food & Beverage Manager
Job Description
He/ She must achieve guest satisfaction targets and team member satisfaction goals. In addition he is responsible for developing and training F&B operational managers and supervisors analyzing current trends and making recommendation accordingly. The F&B Manager contributes to the overall business planning and development of the hotel.
- Oversees the operational activities in all outlets as refer above.
- Developments of all budgets, forecasts, and schedules in line with the Hotel Business plan.
- Implements guidelines, policies and procedures for those operating department.
- Guides operations and establishes a work environment to achieve goals and objectives.
- Manages performance issues that arise within the respective operating departments.
- Interviews, selects, trains, appraises, coaches, counsels and disciplines departmental employees/managers according to company standards.
- Evaluates change in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary.
- Has a strong sales and marketing approach in order to accomplish and support Sofitel Brand Projects and events.
- Ensures employee satisfaction while maintaining market competitiveness.
- Is an inspiration to all hotel staff to achieve luxury levels of performance.
- Interacts in a positive way with other departments to ensure a luxury guest experience.
- Ensures compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Must be an example of the Sofitel Values, brand standards, and a champion of grooming and appearance guidelines.
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years F&B management experience, preferably in the luxury setting
- A strong understanding of operational controls,budgeting, forecasting, sales, and marketing
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Computer skills (word processing, spread sheet,and presentation software)
- Excellent English proficiency
