You are a talented User Experience & Interface Designer (UI/UX), someone who is geek at heart and yet, possesses great creative skills. You value honesty and simplicity. You have the desire to create and implement simple, yet elegant designs and interactions to be seen, easily interpreted and used by customers of different cultures worldwide.
You also feel confortable working alone, from home, communicating with the cofounders, both of them located in foreign countries. Time zones are uncomfortable and you may, many days, start working late and finish late.
Finally, and most important, you want to work exclusively for a company and be part of a stable project for many years.
Skills
You would be the person creating your department in the startup. You would be responsible for the overall design strategy and all visual interactions with our customers, i.e. webpages, promotional material, and the main product, the design of the project/process management software. The main priority is the product and thus your main skills should be related to that project. You are able to imagine and materialize an image online.
The software is at this stage, mocked up and being developed (50%). We expect a first prototype by mid September and a commercial debut by February 2017, leaving 6 months to prepare everything.
- Degree in Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts. In some cases work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 2 or more years of UI/UX design/development experience for software or/and Saas applications.
- Demonstrate UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Full knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Knowledge of JavaScript or a Framework like Angular would be a plus.
- Creation and conduction testing, define user persona.
- Understanding or experience in Agile development.
- In sync with the interaction design trends.
