A GL Accountant position is available at one of our prestigious partners. This multinational company runs a shared service centre in Budapest and is currently expanding their accounting department. They are in the need of such GL Accountants to join their team who have the ambitions and are able to professionally support the GL team’s daily operation.

As GL Accountant your daily tasks will be to maintain the general ledger, to ensure that monthly, quarterly and yearly closings are in accordance with accounting policies and that the booking is done correctly. You will also have to prepare market analytics and support the reporting process. As a senior member of your team, you will have the chance to take part in exciting projects, such as process improvement, furthermore, you will be professionally coaching the more junior team mates.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- has university and / or college degree in F&A;
- fluent English knowledge;
- 3-4 years of GL accounting experience;
- strong awareness of Hungarian and international accounting standards.
