Job Description
HP Graduate Trainee Programme embarking on a structures development programme for 12- 24months, need to have a minimum of a 2.1 Degree (Hons) or country equivalent
Responsiblities:
Participate and complete all training and development components of the Graduate Program.
Business Capablities:

- Knows how to get things done in a complex, multilevel organization.
- Meets commitments to customers.
- Mature End to end understanding of a deal lifecycle from design to implementation.
- Ability to identify risks and factors that can have technical, financial or commercial impact.
- Ability to elevate and escalate issues when necessary.
- Understanding of HP’s internal mechanisms in order to manage eco system and understand requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Main responsibilities:
· Participation in development projects as .net programmer
· Participation in 3rd level support activities
· Test environment support, deployment scripting
· Test automation
Required:
· .Net, C#, ASP .Net, MS SQL, PowerShell knowledge
· WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) knowledge
· Visual Studio, nUnit
Advantage:
· Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Kanban
· Techniques: Continuous Integration, Inversion of Control, Dependency Injection, Domain Driven Design, CQRS
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor or master degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
- Within 1 year of graduation which may also include relevant work experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrates a methodical approach from previous employment/university work using tools such as MS Project /Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication using a variety of tools.
- Understanding of basic negotiation skills – able to balance risk and opportunity.
- Keeps up-to-date on professional/ technical developments.
- Demonstrates a “can-do” spirit, ownership, and commitment.
- Able to build relationships, demonstrates a passion for customers.
- Is able to work both as a team player and independently on multiple tasks.
- Is able to adapt to a technical environment, is highly motivated and able to manage constant change and ambiguity.
