Responsibilities and benefits
Participation in GREENWILL will enable interns to learn creating a global green policy framework for organizations all over the world and gain valuable insight in business processes. This opportunity, where enthusiasm and professional work attitude will be appreciated, may offer attendance at high-profile business events and involvement in several global initiatives. In addition, the experience will provide a unique chance to develop a professional network in environmental and sustainability fields, to cooperate with business professionals and much more.
Conditions
Internships are located in Budapest, Hungary and can be both full-time or part-time basis. The minimum duration is 3 months. The internship does not include any kind of remuneration, however students and postgraduates usually can participate in international scholarship programs such as Erasmus Placement or Leonardo Da Vinci program, etc.
Activities may include
Development of the GREENWILL project
– developing green policies, green guidelines and self-assessment tools
– creating presentations and other promotional materials
– working on promotional plan, business plan and budget
– writing articles and blogs
– contacting organizations, attending business meetings
– further responsibilities may vary according to relevant studies/interest
Assisting appointed Green Officers at adopting organizations
– using questionnaires to measure overall commitment to the cause
– conducting promotional campaigns to present the project to employees of organizations
– educating employees on how to act according to green practices
– implementing tips given in the green guidelines
– monitoring overall behaviour according to the Green Policy
– supporting self-assessment of organizations
Eligibility criteria
– fluent English, both written and spoken
– excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills
– team player, quick learner
– self-motivation, highly proactive attitude
– computer literacy, precision, attention to details
