Full-Time Head of Brand and Marketing Communication

The purpose of this position is to develop and drive Telenor Hungary brand towards an aspirational telco/digital brand, while ensuring and supporting delivery of company target’s and KPI’s.
In doing so, the job holder will report directly to the Consumer Marketing Director and will be an important member of the consumer marketing management team, while supporting communication needs of the business segments.

 

Roles and Key Responsibilities:

– working out and implementation of the marketing communication strategy,
– challenging segment/product/digital activities (wearing the customer hat) in doing so,
– working out and implementation of the optimal operational model,
– planning, direction, control and coordination of all communication activities towards the consumer and corporate market,
– preparation and implementation of the advertising campaigns in each channel of customer relationship,
– supporting marketing activities with sponsorship strategy,
– keeping track of the success and efficiency of ongoing marketing activities and making the required changes for better efficiency,
– responsible for the achievement of marrketing communications mission,
– responsible for the marketing communication (short-term and long-term) budget,
– developing effective media strategy towards target segments,
– managing creative/media agency performance,
– developing, implementing and monitoring systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing communication function,
– monitoring new trends and new solutions in the world of advertising and marketing communication,
– recruiting, developing, appraise and supervising qualified personnel,
– establish a systematic personnel development and career structure for professionals in his/her organization,
– good cooperation with related business areas.

 

 

Desired Skills & Experience

Educational level:
– College/University (Master’s degree)

Qualifications:
– at least 6 years of marketing communication experience in telecom/services sector,
– deep understanding of the commercial value chain,
– proven track record of setting up and leading marketing communication teams,
– very good communication and presentation skills,
– prior international experience in a leadreship role within a marketing organization.

– able to constructively cooperate and deliver through cross-functional cooperation,
– experienced in successfully initiating and driving projects and activities involving complex processes and numerous stakeholders,
