Flikli Animated Productions is currently seeking an experienced Illustrator (storyboard artist / layout designer) to join our busy production team.
Flikli is a fast-growing visual agency creating high quality animated explainer videos, infographics, and custom videos.
The environment here is electric, and ideas are always flowing. Our team works together to produce a high number of videos each month, serving a worldwide market. We have clients all around the globe: from New York to Singapore, from Finland to South Africa — Flikli is there.
Job Title: Illustrator (Storyboard Artist / Layout Designer)
Responsible to: Senior Illustrators, Producer, Studio Director
Member of: Illustration Team
Remuneration: Negotiable based on experience
What you will do:
- Create storyboards and layout design for explainer videos (60, 90 and 120 seconds in length)
- Create full layout design of storyboards, based on the styles that we use here at Flikli
- Create other illustrations related to productions, as needed
- Meet all deadlines as determined by Supervisors
Required skills:
- Experience in animation is a big plus
- Good storyboard skill, preferably on animated productions
- Good creative vision and the ability to convey that vision through your storyboard
- Ability to create storyboards and layouts using both vector graphics, and drawing by hand
- Good Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good English communication skills
- Flexibility, efficiency, and willingness to adapt to the Flikli workflow
- Good communication and teamwork skills
The successful applicant will have permission to work in Hungary and is expected to start at approximately March 1, 2014.
