This is a remote, home-based position.

Scopic Software (www.scopicsoftware.com) is the largest virtual software company in the world. We have over 200 employees in 25 different countries. All employees work from home. We develop custom software applications for clients in North America and Europe.The company is looking to hire a talented Intermediate PHP/JS Developer. Work hours are flexible. Projects are interesting and challenging.

Skills required:
• Good English reading and writing skills. Ideally good verbal English skills.
Good backend programming skills:
• PHP, experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, Yii, Laravel, Zend).
• SQL Databases (including MySQL).
• Familiarity with unit-tests and TDD (test driven development).
• Good skills with Linux. Windows Server is a plus.
Fronted programming skills:
• HTML5, CSS
• JavaScript, including Javascript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Backbone.js, knockoutjs, node.js).
• Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home.

Skills preferred (optional):
• Experience with Amazon Services.
• Experience dealing with large volumes of data and real-time web apps.
• Experience with TCP/IP, Web Sockets.
• Experience with audio and video programming.
• Experience with 2d/3d graphics programming.

This is a full-time position.

Hourly rate range $9-16/hr depends on experience.
