Job Description
Cisco seeks an effective leader to join its sales organization in the role of Manager, Service Sales. In this position, you will be a mentor and guide to your team ,provide planning and strategic support, and serve as an authority for resolving issues in escalated or highly complex sales situations. The Services Sales lead needs to be able to navigate in complex, global environments.
With the increasing importance of Services within Cisco’s GTM model this role requires a strong leader with the ability to drive change. This is a great opportunity for someone with proven sales experience to lead a talented team that plays a vital role in leading Cisco’s journey towards Service-led customer engagements.
Scope of responsibilities assigned to the position:
· Leading service sales team and orchestrate the sales of new services within customers ans partners, driving programs, increase business relevance for Cisco Services
· Developing and executing service sales strategy for CEE (Austria, Czech, Hungary, Slovakia)
· Liaising with management on clients’ side
· Forecasting and reporting the business, building the pipeline for the future
· Close cooperation with product leadership team and other departments both at internal market and abroad (technical department, marketing department, “vertical teams”)
· Cooperation with Cisco Partners Qualifications and personal skills we are looking for are:
o 8+ years of professional experience on value-based sales positions in ICT sector, preferably in modern international environment
o Strong experience and understanding of the specificity of the service, consulting, and advisory services sale
o Solid experience in direct and indirect selling to the most strategic accounts, preferably Telecoms, large enterprises and government accounts
o Fluent German and English are required for this role
· Self-starter and strong closer personality with multi-tasking ability
· Outstanding communication skills, independency, self-motivation
