The position responsible for the design and development of the partner portfolio to meet capacity needs for the marketing, sale, deployment and service of our latest technologies by partners. The role reports to the SMSP Segment Lead but melds complete cross segment channel leadership with a management and orchestration responsibility. The Partner business and development team is responsible for building and activating subsidiary’s managed and also unmanaged partner portfolio and ensures that all partner business engines are aligned along the partner lifecycle in order to and have a direct, positive impact on partner led sales motions (Corporate Accounts, Small Medium Business-Distribution, Enterprise, and Developer). The team plays a foundational role in transforming our existing partners and recruiting new partners to the Cloud. The key levers that the Partner Business and Development Manager uses to accomplish his mission are capacity planning, leadership of the PLT, Channel Incentives and the partner Rhythm of the Business Process. Primary Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the PB&D Team to success across the subsidiary Build local Partner capacity model and Fiscal Year Plan Drive investment in partner resourcing at Microsoft Lead the Cloud Transformation Accelerate re-enrollment and recruitment to the Microsoft Partner Network (To Partner Marketing) Skill Partners to Sell and Deploy Latest Microsoft Technology Compete to Win Through Partner Generate Channel Demand through partner marketing Drive effective and efficient prioritization of channel Incentives across the segments Deliver Execution Excellence Candidate Requirements: 10+ years experiences in partner channel sales and development, marketing and business strategy development and execution Proven success as a business leader in Complex Program Management and evolution Proven success as a business leader in orchestration and managing multiple business fronts to a single, positive outcome-business focus and orientation Having strong industry, channel knowledge including market trends and best practices Understanding of Microsoft’s business, product, and technical strategies, and proven cross-group/project leadership and/or management skills Having immediate group impact including the ability to work independently and resolve complex problems effectively and without escalation is a must Team-player attitude, ability to manage virtual team Excellent communication and negotiation skills Good command of English language, both written and oral If you would like to apply please send your resume to Márta Berzsenyi – mberz@microsoft.com – and refer for the position name.
