Following completion of a successful 2016, Advanced MP Technology, a wholesale distributor of electronic components to high technology manufacturers, is expanding in Europe and has immediate opening an entry level buyers in its Budapest office. We are seeking detail oriented individuals with aspirations of developing and growing a career in High Technology industry. The new recruit will be member of our talented successful European team. Qualified applicants must be high analytical, persuasive, result-oriented in a fast-paced environment. Passion for achievement and a positive attitude is essential! The successful candidates will be provided with a great opportunity for professional, personal and financial growth in this challenging, yet rewarding position.
Responsibilities:
- Contact and source daily requirement from the global sales team
- Contact and identify new source of supply
- Properly qualify products offers from suppliers
- Negotiate best prices, best quality, and best terms of payment and prompt delivery with the vendors.
- Place purchase orders
- Expedite purchase orders for on time and prompt delivery
- Manage best practice relationships and update the contact list as it changes.
Requirements:
- University degree holder in purchasing preferred
- Fluency in English required and ability communicating in a second language such as German is preferred.
- Immediate available is highly preferable
- Knowledge of MS Office
