JOB DESCRIPTION
Accedo is looking for QA Engineers with a software test automation background to join our Global Quality Assurance team. As a QA Engineer at Accedo you will play an important role in guaranteeing quality for the Accedo products as well as projects. You will work with the development teams to identify problems early in the process, and handle a variety of applications including web applications, back-end web services, smart TV apps, and mobile apps, as well as profession with appropriate visibility into the process is being used by those products/projects.

As a QA Engineers at Accedo you will involved in projects for global telecom and media companies like Spotify, HBO, Fox, Viaplay, Orange & DTAG on multiple platforms ranging from Smart TVs, game consoles, set-top-boxes and media devices to mobile phones and tablets.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Role Responsibilities:
- As test automation engineer, you should be able to help out designing, building, testing, and deploying effective test automation solutions, especially on our mobile (iOS/Android) automation framework.
- Set up and maintain the testing environment and configuration, including test devices and servers.
- Create adequate test related artifacts such as test plans, test cases and test protocols.
- Analyze and report the test result to QA manager, project manage and development team.
- When needed, participate in project team SCRUM-meetings.
- This role will be located in Budapest, Hungary, and also has chance to travel to our headquarter office at Stockholm, Sweden.
- This role reports to QA director at Stockholm and also aligns with the office manager at Budapest office.
Role Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and knowledge in software development.
- Development skill such as Python, shell scripting and java scripting.
- Knowledge in Linux/Unix operating systems is important.
- Good understanding of QA methodology and tools.
- Experience in Mobile, TV or Video technologies and knowledge in other programming languages / operating systems is an extra bonus but not mandatory.
- An integrated part of the local development organization, knowledge in SCRUM/Kanban and/or other modern development methodologies is considered a plus.
Personal Qualities:
- Good English skills are required, with additional languages being an extra plus.
- Desire to learn new things and take on exciting challenges
