We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person for the following role:

Sales Support Team Leader – German speaking

Role:

Lead the Sales Assistant and Telesales Specialist Team to support sales community by carrying out administration tasks on behalf and supporting them to enable them with time to maximize the productivity and value creation for selling Vodafone’s targeted customers.

Tasks:

  • People Management and team expansion: Motivate, coach, develop and support the Business Account Team. Manage career, knowledge development and recruitment of team members. Develop and use a training plan for on-boarding new colleagues.
  • Successfully leading and Supervising the Business Account Team: Manage the team of Business Account Specialist and Assistant, who will provide a supporting service to the Vodafone Account Sales Teams. Drive up quality output for all supported activities email style/ pricing / reporting / customer interactions generated by the team, ensuring customer all time high customer and sales satisfaction.
  • Role model for Business Account Team: Act as Senior Business Account Specialist. Coach team members and lead by example.
  • Process Governance and Improvement: Lead the creation of new processes, measures, objectives & reporting structure that will ensure an excellent experience for all Sales Support service users. Ensure that all relevant processes are documented, followed as required (e.g. qualification, approvals), and lead meetings as required.
  • Develop & manage the Account Support Service Delivery plan: Including key performance metrics (including sales satisfaction), SLA fulfillment, management reporting, risk analysis, third party management & contingency planning, ensuring that all necessary activities are completed on time.
  • Learning Reviews: Lead internal learning reviews and participate in customer feedback meetings / learning reviews.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and German is required
  • 5 years’ experience in Sales Support (in assistance and/or sales – of which at least three must have been spent on the support side of the table)
  • Minimum 3 years People Management experience
  • ‘Business-savvy’ – some mobile telecoms market understanding ideal
  • Experience in a Shared Service Centre is an advantage
  • Excellent facilitation skills – able to build & motivate teams, generate creativity and challenge effectively.
  • Strong project management skill-set and mindset; able to manage teams and projects under tight time pressure
  • Strong strategic thinking (to develop proposal strategies, with the account team)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong customer / business partner understanding
