Job Description

Contributes to code development by focusing on critical and technically complex tasks
As a recognized technical leader, guides and mentors a team of 3-4 iOS developers
Responsible for technical architecture, overall code quality and compliance for assigned projects
Continuously discovers, evaluates, and implements new technologies and best practices to maximize development efficiency
Coordinates project performance with Project/Program Manager
Contributes to defect triage and prioritizes the tasks, helps in finding the root cause of issues by doing code reviews
Unit-tests code for robustness
Accountable to reflect accurate status updates in project management tools
Updates knowledge and document management systems (SharePoint, Confluence) with artefacts
Responsible for correctness and completeness of project technical documentation
Actively participates in SCRUM meetings (daily standup, sprint review & retrospective) and contributes to SCRUM artifacts

Fast action – changes in mobility happen constantly and end-users expect to immediately take advantage of the latest technologies
Takes charge, internalizes responsibility, direct peer and manager colleagues comfortably and collegially
Thinks ahead and does not procrastinate – predicts upcoming changes, plans time accordingly
Self-starter, takes initiative without instruction
Goes beyond the expectations of a project manager
Able to understand and assess business problems and communicate to non-technical stakeholders in their language

University degree in computer science or related field
5+ years of software development experience, out of these 4+ latest years in iOS application development demonstrated with completed projects
Experience in technical lead role is desirable, but not mandatory
Expert knowledge of Swift and Apple’s iOS, experience with other languages (C++, JavaScript, Java, C#) would be a plus
Experience using RESTful web services
Good communication skills
Advanced English (written and spoken)
Experience working in Agile environment is highly desirable
