The Small and Mid-Market Solutions & Partners (SMS&P) group is looking for a highly ambitious colleague for Software Asset Manager role.
The Software Asset Manager is responsible for driving targeted customer engagements (both in Enterprise and SMS&P) using a customer-friendly approach known as the SAM Review.
A SAM Review consists in a License Review and a SAM Optimization Assessment. The role requires an individual who can command respect at boardroom levels through presentation and gravitas of personality coupled with the intellectual horsepower to solve complex issues, the ability to deliver difficult messages with empathy, the discipline to manage the project and the sales skills to get the customer to commit and implement the software asset management process as a key IT and financial priority.

Responsibilities:
SAM Engagements
Drive SAM engagements with customers;
Implement the new SAM Services Incentives program to drive SAM Baseline,
SAM Assessments, and SAM Deployment Planning engagements
Conducting “true SAM” implementations: a combination of License Review and SAM Optimization Assessment
Driving License Review revenue in the subsidiary, without any adverse effects on usage share or Customer and Partner Execution, and delivering on SAM optimization assessment attach % to SAM reviews.

Prevent Piracy
Enterprise (Major and Corporate Accounts): Drive proper future licensing via Software Asset Management (SAM) tools deployment and SAM optimization
Small & Medium Business (SMB): Embed AP specific activities into the SMB Public Cloud Go-to-Market Model;
Consumer: Drive Office Attach by integrating Anti-Piracy (AP) and Office Unmanaged initiatives; drive consolidated messaging that includes Value of Genuine, risk of Counterfeit and security value propositions.

Drive IPR Awareness
Land Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) execution framework in Subsidiary to address long-term behavior change.
Implement playbook to scale IPR message through government engagement, influencers and proactive PR.
Prioritize Intellectual Property (IP) youth education initiative adoption.
Partner Relationship Building & Management
Educate Customers and Partners about the licensing terms;
Work collaboratively with Partners to drive SAM implementations through evangelism and managed SAM strategy.

Key Required Competencies
Candidates must have at least 5 years of practical experience in successful sales and channel and/or business development,
Deep understanding of business dynamics, sales, marketing, and licensing scenarios and solutions,
Ability to influence results by leading cross-company initiatives critical,
Ability to build up and manage complex evaluation and enablement system
Team-player attitude, ability to manage virtual team
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Good command of English language, both written and oral
Knowledge of Microsoft’s products & channel model.
Knowledge of IT trends locally and worldwide
