Responsibilities:

• Understand the Hadoop eco-system and build reliable and scalable automated systems to run complex tests
• Ability to deal with distributed systems
• Build a sustainable automated Platform Certification suite
• Contribute to hiring right set of talent in addressing platform certification needs
• Innovate and Automate and Break the Code!!
• Work with cross component teams and be an effective team player

Qualifications:

• Attention to details and ability to build reliable and scalable software test systems
• At least 5+ years of experience in development and test
• Effective communication and collaboration skills. This role requires communication with diverse teams and individuals spread around the globe
• Prefer strong coding skills in Java/Python and comfortable with Linux environments
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and/or data management systems
• Experience working with open source automation tools and familiarity with Git, Maven, Ant a plus
• Knowledge of ‘Big Data’ technology, especially the Hadoop ecosystem. Previous experience with Cloudera’s stack specifically a big plus.
• Enterprise Platform Testing experience is a big plus
• Openstack environment configuration knowledge/experience is a big plus.
