STRATEGIC SOURCING SPECIALIST
Out partner, who is a market leader multinational company operating in the field of technology and engineering projects is currently looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist in Komárom-Esztergom County. The main purpose of the opening is to develop sourcing strategies, conduct and coordinate sourcing projects under the guidance of the Regional Sourcing Manager.
Main responsibilities of the Strategic Sourcing Specialist:
• Developing sourcing strategies, obtaining bids, coordination of Engineered System Projects Sourcing activities to meet business needs
• Searching for new suppliers, preparing and conducting tenders, supplier management and development
• Building up effective communication channels with suppliers and partners’ management teams
• Perform market survey to identify potential suppliers, selection and evaluation of them
• Continuous and strong cooperation with Engineering and Quality departments
• Determine potential sources, using cost and price analysis techniques, evaluating requirements
• Reporting delays, proposing and implementing recovery plans, process developments
Requirements:
• University/college degree in engineering (preferably in mechanical or chemical engineering)
• At least 5-7 years professional experience in sourcing/purchasing at a multinational company, relevant experience in coordinating projects
• Fluent English knowledge, Italian is considered a plus
• Strong experience in planning and scheduling
• Excellent communication/negotiation and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Ability to work efficiently and fast under high pressure
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
