Full-Time Supplier quality manager
Job Description
· Lead the Supplier Quality Assurance Group (all Supplier Quality Engineers, Incoming Quality Control,)
· Assure Supplier quality objectives are consistent with product requirements and projects plans
· Be the main site contact person for Supplier Global Development Team
· Lead corrective/preventive action process for problem resolution and continuous improvement with the Supplier base
· Monitor SQA Group’s proactive actions to protect Workcells from Supplier issues and works on objective goals with the whole team
· Monitor internal SQA trends to identify continuous improvement opportunities
· Manage Document Control for the SQA Group
· Control the SQA Group’s tasks on a regular daily and weekly basis
· Monitor and analyze all SCARs – their management and timely reaction by each of the SQEs
· Control Supplier Performance/Scorecard spreadsheets are done accurately and on time, presented to all relevant Suppliers, non-conforming trends are analyzed and actions taken (Continuous Improvement Plans from Supplier side available)
· Be the main escalation point for the whole SQA Group
· Escalate SQA issues to the Global Team/Higher Management/Customer for resolution
· Assure non-conforming materials’ are disposed back to Suppliers correctly and on time (upon KPI data from all Workcells)
· Provide data and reports on SQA Group activities to Higher Management/Customer, upon demand
