SUPPLY CHAIN LOGISTICS & CUSTOMER SUPPORT MANAGER – Hungary

Aegex’s unified mobile platform with enterprise software and industry-specific applications can be used in explosive environments where traditional devices are prohibited, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, public safety and utilities industries.

 

Job Opportunity:

Aegex is seeking a qualified employee to source and acquire all parts and components involved in the building and shipping of Aegex products, as well as manage forward logistics and reverse logistics processes to efficiently and professionally deliver products to distributors and end customers. The employee will also liaise with customers who are having technical difficulties with their Aegex device, or who need to repair or replace Aegex devices. This person will also assist with back-office operations, including all paper work, as needed.

 

Duties include:

  • Identifying sources for component parts used to build and ship Aegex devices, including long-lead items, accessories and packaging
  • Comparing sources and selecting the most appropriate and cost-effective
  • Ordering and purchasing components, accessories and packaging
  • Reporting billing/payments for purchases
  • Keeping inventory
  • Pick, pack, and ship of devices to distribution lines and customers
  • Managing packaging process, including negotiating with logistics companies to get the best shipping provider
  • Handling reverse logistics for device replacement or repair – includes pick-up of device from customer and sending them a replacement device
  • Communicating with customer to see what is the problem
  • Talking to Aegex software and hardware specialists to decide who will help customer
  • Completing forms such as corporate insurance, business license updates and other legal documentation
  • Assist with documents and filling out forms/corporate and equity documents
  • Other

 

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

  • Supply chain experience preferable
  • Customer support experience preferable
  • Previous telecom or technology company experience desirable
  • English (written required, verbal desirable)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Solution-oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Open to learning and trying new things
  • Ability to work in face-paced, international/multicultural environment and under deadlines
