We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person for the following role:

Transition Project Manager

Tasks:

The overall objective of the position is to take the lead on end to end project management activities of the Shared Service Centre. The Transition Project Manager will be involved in activities as early as the opportunity identification of the projects (including scoping, solution design and business case preparation). Developing detailed planning with timelines, resource requirements and adequate budgeting will be part of the role content. These projects could be categorized as ‘Business Process Migrations’, ‘Quality Improvement Projects’ and ‘System implementations’. The purpose of the role is to manage the projects in an effective and efficient manner, applying all available project management tools and methodologies:

  • Involvement in the commercial activities preceding the commencement of a project;
  • Planning and management of the transfer of agreed activities from Local Markets to the Shared Service Centre platform (Budapest, India, South Africa, Egypt) in accordance with the agreed solution design;
  • Development of the SLAs which will be used as the basis for ongoing service provision;
  • Implementing the Shared Service Centre PMO and Migration methodology;
  • Delivery of the project as per the pre-defined milestones.

Requirements:

  • Relevant university or college degree in finance and accounting, business administration or information systems management
  • At least 3-4 years’ experience of working on projects (preferably business process migrations, ERP implementations or Quality Improvement projects)
  • Strong experience of working on:
    • a work stream on a major Shared Service Centre implementation and/or the transition of activity on behalf of an outsourced service provider
  • Experience of process implementation/ operation covering one or more major Shared Services function i.e. Finance & Accounting, IT services, Sales/Commercial, HR
  • Fluent written and spoken English another European language (desirable)
  • Strong relationship management & influencing skills
  • Willingness to work abroad for extended periods
  • Experience in pre-sales commercial activities is desirable
